She had a lot of information about both cars (the CRV and HRV) we were interested in the first time we visited the dealership, and allowed us ample time to get familiar with both cars. Ultimately we decided to go with the CRV, and she made the process quick and smooth. I was very surprised with how reasonable the price was, which allowed us to skip the song and dance of haggling that you always hear about when buying a car. I've been in the market for a new car for the past 3 years but always went back to my 2004 Honda Odyssey with 235,000 miles rather than keep getting jerked around by salespeople/finance dept., i.e., lying about inventory, not honoring advertised lease or adjusting down payment with monthly payments, not honoring a negotiated agreed upon purchase price, unwillingness to remove the $$$ extended warrantee on a purchase, ignoring advertised interest rates.... I almost gave up until I called Kirkland Honda. Not only did they have the car I wanted in their inventory but they sent me a picture of it on their lot (at my request) to prove it.   • Three years ago I leased a car from Honda of Kirkland (HOK). My first contact person was Tanner Eells from an online chat session. I met him at the dealership and the experience was nothing short of professional, friendly and actually enjoyable. Fast forward to last week, I went to talk to Tanner about my "end of lease" options. Once again, Tanner and HOK made me feel welcome, answered all my questions, met my expectations for a new lease AND I walked out the same day in a brand new 2015 Accord Sport. I've been thinking about getting a white car for the past 6 months or so (my last Accord was black and I wanted a change..) When I arrived at HOK, Tanner had a 2015 Accord Sport parked by the front door ready to test drive. I'm not sure if he reads minds or not, but it was really crazy that Tanner somehow knew what I wanted. And by the way, this was the car I drove off the lot. Thank you Tanner Eells for once again providing exceptional customer service! He is someone that every Honda dealership should be looking for on their team. I would not hesitate to return to HOK. He was very knowledgeable and understood exactly what I needed. Very honest and forth coming!   • I want to compliment your service department, on Sunday I noted a burning smell after driving my 2003 Honda Odyssey, I checked the radiator and engine compartment and could see nothing amiss. When I again noticed the smelled on Monday morning, I decided I wanted to get it checked out so I called your service department, they were very accommodating on letting me drop my car off on the way to work Eric was my advisor and he discovered there was also a service alert for the ignition and said they would get that taken care of while the van was there. I indicated that I needed to rent a vehicle as this was an unexpected visit and I had not been able to arrange for someone to pick me up and didn’t know how long the van would be there. He estimated about a $100 diagnostic charge to find out where the smell was coming from. Eric gave me a form to give to the rental desk which meant that I was not charged for the rental – which was a very pleasant surprise. About 5.45pm on Monday Eric notified me the van was ready, there were no problems, the smell was tar that I had picked up while driving on the exhaust system and would burn off over time. I was unable to pick up the vehicle until the next day. After I checked in the rental vehicle I was told that Eric had my paperwork, so I went down to service to pickup the paperwork and settle my bill. I was extremely surprised to find there was no charge for the entire visit. This was another pleasant surprise I had expected to at least pay for the technicians time to discover the source of the burning smell. This only reinforces my loyalty to Kirkland Honda, the Odyssey and my previous Honda Accord Wagon have only been serviced at Kirkland Honda and I will continue with that practice. Sarah Shoubridge

  • I buy "Honda Certified" used cars for a reason. This purchase was a replacement for my 2006 Honda Element which was rear-ended and totalled. I LOVED that car and I know I will love this one. Honda has great designs and doesn't change them much from year to year. The right model at the right price. Alex Gharai and Deborah made all the paper completely clear, explained several Honda maintenance options, and had great flexibility while I got the financing into place.   • Ken, My family and I moved from Jacksonville Beach,Fl and the transition was anything but seamless. We had tons of trouble with our business ventures while relocating to include fraud and theft. We were very guarded and disappointed and did not want to deal with any other problems. We needed a car and wanted to purchase one for cash. We found a vehicle on your lot that was perfect for our needs. I had a budget that I had to stay with and the last thing I wanted to do was deal with "the used car guy". I called first and talked to Martin who was extremely professional and kind. Of course I immediately became skeptical because "the used car guy" was being friendly. When we came to Honda of Kirkland, I met with Martin and he had my vehicle waiting for me to test drive. The vehicle had been detailed and looked better in person than in the pictures on the internet. I was still skeptical. Martin introduced me to Luaye who not only helped finish the sale but went muc h further, above and beyond my expectations not only as a "used car guy" but as a compassionate and caring human being. Luaye kindly listened to our relocating nightmares and showed a genuine concern for our well being, giving us his personal information and offering his assistance in any way he could help. What a great guy. Finally, we were introduced to Tim who sold us our service contract without being suggestive or pushy. Tim explained why the plan we bought would work best for us and why the more expensive plan would not be to our benefit. It has been my experience in the past that Finance Staff will try to up-sell you at any cost. This was not so with Tim.   • We recently purchased our CR-V at Honda of Kirkland and were exceptionally pleased to work with Fred Ganjavi during the buying process. What started out being a possibly negative experience that morning turned out to be the most positive car-buying experience to date. We came into the showroom that morning expecting to work with another member of the sales team, who turned out to be absent that day. While working with that member during the week we were assured that the vehicle we wanted would be in stock and ready to go Friday morning. When we arrived, that was not the case. We were ready to pack up and find another dealer at that point. However, Fred happened to be the one we spoke to first that day, and he was polite, professional, and eager to please without being pushy or aggressive. We sat down and explained exactly which model we wanted and what we hoped for a trade-in. He showed us around the lot, content to let us take our time as we talked it through together. Once we made a decision, it was time to deal. Fred made the process painless and pleasant. While the entire process took hours to complete, Fred was there for us the entire time, always ready to answer questions and let us know where things stood. Once the car was made ready for delivery and we inspected the vehicle before leaving the lot, Fred again took his time showing us the vehicle, all the while patient and professional. Fred's manner and courtesy towards us, the customer, continued beyond that day. He returned our subsequent calls in a timely manner and when we needed to take the car in to finish some installation that could not be done that day, he took care of us in the same polite way, being sure everything was settled. We wanted you to know how much we liked working with Fred that we plan to refer anyone looking to buy a Honda, or a car, to him.   • Fast, easy and convenient service. I recently took my 2010 Honda Civic in to the shop for a standard service (the B12 according to my service minder). I made an appointment by calling and they were waiting and ready for me when I showed up.   • This is the third car I've purchased from Honda of Kirkland and this was the best experience of all three. I decided to purchase either the Fit of the Civic. I drove both vehicles and then went home to do all the research and pull reviews on both cars. My sales person, Tom Forbes, was helpful throughout the entire process, making sure that someone was there to help me when I came in to test drive. I was clear that I wanted to spend as little time in the dealership as possible through the process and Tom held to that, having me out the door in record time. When the time comes to buy my next car, I'll be headed back to Honda of Kirkland and asking for Tom. Wendy

Everyone from the person on the phone to the service was very helpful and knowledgable. We purchased a 2008 accord. Loved the car. After 2 months my wife said it was just too large to be comfortable driving. So we called the dealer and they said to come in. I thought were not going to get any kind of a deal but boy was I wrong. They did everything to make sure my wife would be comfortable in another car. Ended up with a 2009 civic with less miles. This car is perfect!!!   • When I made a stop at this dealership, I was torn between quite a few different trucks to bring my family and I to the mountains and back for our ski trips. I needed room for both gear and 4 bodies, not to mention the dogs from time to time. I spoke with a young man by the name of Sean, he was very courteous and knowledgeable about Honda products. I first thought the Pilot was the Honda I wanted, but after discussing my needs in a truck with Sean, he showed me the versatility and 4x4 functionality of the Ridgeline, and I fell in love the second I took it for a test drive. It handles so well in harsh weather, and cruises like a luxury car, especially with the leather equipped RTL model. This thing can walk all over the larger "full size" trucks that I pass stuck on mountain roads nearly every trip I take. Overall great experience at this dealership. Sean was an exceptional salesman, and I recommend this establishment to any and all people looking for a good sales experience and a beautiful new Honda! Ryan57

Our Sales person Dan was great and really listened to what we wanted and didn't pressure us. He had knowledge of the vehicle we decided to purchase-2012 Crosstour- even though the car has only been out a few years and they seem hard to find. At other dealerships, the salepersons did not seem to know much nor did they have any selection. Deborah, the Finance Manager was extremely helpful with our options on finance (I was originally looking to purchase a new used car but found it was better to purchase a new car and take advantage of the low interest rate).
